Xanax, “Xan Airlines” is from the fabulous Mr Xavier’s debut album. If this is his first album, Xavier Vindard is far from unknown to the general public. Xanax, also known as Mr Xavier, is one of the members of the famous Svinkels group. Alongside Prince Gérard Baste, Nikus Pokus and Thomas Parent alias Dj Pone, they have been rocking sound for 25 years.
By illustrating the words “we are going to fly away, touch the sky, climb on board”, she lays the foundations of her pop and tangy universe. This universe which is dear to him, is completely in line with the so groovy musical production. Even if he wants to become the “oldest pro player in game fighting”, Mr. Xavier is a first class crooner. He has been giving sweet candies to our ears since a century quarter with the Svinkels. To illustrate this video capsule, she takes the words literally. The concept of #La1èreDoseEstGratuite allows director Pauline Bricout to present her work to different artists with whom she would like to collaborate. She therefore chooses each piece according to her musical affinity and imagines the universe for this one in particular and for this sample more precisely. The sample chosen is about 10 seconds long, so as not to interfere or take advantage of the piece, that it remains illustrative and not parasitic.
